Pollen Product Information

Storage:
Pollen is a perishable food not unlike bread. It may be kept frozen or refrigerated and, most importantly, it should be kept dry.

How to enjoy your bee pollen:
It is best to eat pollen along with other foods. Sprinkle it on salads, mix it with orange juice, spread on toast with honey, or make your own culinary delight.

About Bee Pollen:
Bee Pollen is the principal protein food of bees. Bee Pollen is a source of complete nutrition and contains many flavonoids valuable to the health of people as well, including myricetin, quercetin, rutin, and trans-cinnamic acid.

The Myricetin found in Bee Pollen helps white blood cells soak up the "bad" LDL cholesterol out of the bloodstream. Quercetin is a natural antihistamine"the right kind of pollen can be beneficial for your allergies. Rutin is best known as the remedy for varicose veins. Rutin protects veins throughout the body and may help prevent cancer as well. Your body uses trans-cinnamic acid to make its own antibiotics, and this potent nutrient also powers the detoxifying processes of the liver.

We sell bulk bee pollen that looks like small beads. The Bee Pollen is harvested from native Connecticut Bees.
